The Human Rights Council of the City of Graz decided to translate the short version of its 2021 Human Rights Report into in total five different languages, thereby emphasising and valuing the City’s linguistic diversity.

The Chonnam National University Center for Regional Development, the International Centre for the Promotion of Human Rights at the Local and Regional Levels under the auspices of UNESCO, and the UNESCO Chair in Human Rights and Human Security (University of Graz) co-host a special session (“Human Rights Paper Session II”) as a part of the 12th World Human Rights Cities Forum (WHRCF) taking place from 10-13 October 2022, in Gwangju, Republic of Korea.

The Inclusion of Women in Arab Cities
Advancing women’s inclusion in cities enables more inclusive economic, social, and ecological development, contributing to the common goal of “leaving no one behind”. Together with partners, the Centre organized a regional consultation to gather experiences of cities on the successful inclusion of women in urban contexts.
