Registration now open: Local approaches to guaranteeing women’s rights (7-9 December 2020)

Posted on in: Categories Events

Join us for a unique 3-day online capacity-building event to promote human rights, equality, and diversity at the local level.

During the workshop, participants will receive input and get acquainted with the most pertinent concepts relevant to Human Rights protection at the local level, with a specific focus on the advancement of women’s rights. Participants will take part in a guided discussion and analyse concepts, arguments, and evidence backing gender programmes and policies in their respective cities. Together, they will identify conditions that enable the implementation of policies and programmes, identify key stakeholders, and exchange experiences on how to engage them.

People engaged in the formulation, implementation, evaluation or research of policies at the local level, as well as representatives of civil society organisations, academia and the interested public are  encouraged to register for the event at http://www.humanrightsgolocal.org/alga-registration/.

Advance registration is required, participation is free of charge. The workshop will be held online in English.
