ACTION webinar

On the first day of the Academy “Human Rights Go Local – What works“, taking place from 5 to 8 February 2024, a webinar on the development of Action plans against racism is offered. The webinar is a service offered in the framework of the EU co-funded ACTION project.

The ACTION Project aims at elaborating action plans against racism on the local level. It aims at supporting the implementation of local policies to successfully combat racism. The webinar’s target group are member cities of the European Coalition of Cities against Racism (ECCAR) or other cities who wish to join the ECCAR.

The ACTION webinar takes place on 5 February 2024 from 13:30 to 15:30 CET and introduces 7 steps to successfully develop an Action Plan against Racism at the local level. It is based on the practical experience of cities, as compiled in the Toolkit for Equality.

The event takes place in an informal workshop setting with the goal of sharing methods, tools and instruments that really work in practice. The Academy seeks to collect inputs from a range of actors, synthesizes them and will develop a tangible outcome, which is then be encouraged by international organisations and high-level politicians at the closing Conference. Everyone is an expert and we are very grateful for your valuable contribution!
